Bridge Demolition
Something you don’t see every day: The demolition of a 1930’s bridge. The middle section was removed first, so there is a big gap between the east and west sections that you drive past while on the new bridge.

The Kaiwo Maru
An old Japanese ship is in town right now, so Busby had to check it out. More info at:

A typical Saturday dog walk
If you’ve ever wondered, this is what walking Busby is like, at least for me. My equipment includes:
- GoPro HERO3 camera
- Windows Phone with the GoPro app to easily control the camera
- Windows 8.1 with the Movie Moments and built-in Photos app to edit the videos and photos
I don’t usually have the GoPro with me, nor sit on a bench. But, I took the time to sit down and figure out the GoPro app on my phone so I could control the camera with it.
CA Road Trip, Day 6
Notice the green pea pods on the tree in Palm Springs and the dried one I’m holding. This is carob. The dried one has a hint of chocolate smell when you break it, which explains why it’s used as a substitute for chocolate. See http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carob
