It’s not every day you see a canal being worked on. This one is having a parking garage built under it.

How is it that I never thought of putting sprinkles on a sandwich, which are normally on a cupcake or doughnut in the US?

The white things in the water are lanterns for the festival of lights that’s happening now. The office is up 3 flights of steep stairs, which is typical is Amsterdam.

Heli-Ski Summary Video

This video is a great summary of the helicopter ski trip that my friend Jeff Johnson shot and compiled. I highly recommend the CMH Gothics lodge and skiing if you want a great ski trip.

Early in the video, snow covers Jeff’s camera. He’s over 6 foot, with his GoPro mounted on top of his helmet. That means it was some deep and light snow!
Later, you can see me skiing behind Jeff in the blue jacket and black helmet, and at the end of the video, that’s me waving to the camera inside the helicopter.

This picture is of the New Years Eve fireworks after the kids and dads were done shooting them off. Needless to say, there were a lot of them on the street!
