The Munich Taxi
In Munich, and other German cities, the taxis are nice Mercedes. I can’t read any of the magazines though. With this much legroom though, I can stretch out and sleep.
Birds of Albert Cuyp Market
Notice the one on top of the car, there were 4 cars with these birds standing on the car roofs. The birds are waiting for the market to open, specifically the fish stands.
I’m a Guest Professor at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences
Today, my intern Jurmen Hughes and I presented at the HvA Wibauthuis (WBH) – Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences – AUAS about Planet. This is a group of about 150 students and their professors, who under our guidance, will create new solutions as part of their school projects, but with Planet’s satellite imagery. That’s me at the front in the red/orange shirt and I have to admit that I needed to present in English, but everyone was fine with it and I had a good variety of questions. Since we will be giving guidance to the students and reviewing their work for the next few months, I think this officially makes me a guest professor! This is part of our Education and Research Program and our first big effort with the program in the Netherlands.
Backpack Dog
As seen on the streets of Amsterdam. I sometimes wish we could do this with our dogs.
