We went to the southernmost town of Riomaggiore today, hiked around and enjoyed some Nutella gelato. Plus a sampling of wine from each town with dinner.

We hiked a hilly 3km in the hot part of the day, but enjoyed the spectacular views between Monterosso and Vernazza.

Got a bit of history today at the Science Museum, specifically at the “Churchill’s Scientists” exhibit. I learned how England created and integrated RADAR into their entire war effort, beyond just detecting incoming planes.

Quick stop in London

So we stopped in at Borough Market to stock up on our favorite balsamic and Lorie said hi to her favorite pancake people.

Traffic. In the city, traffic laws are more like suggestions, since one double parked cars and other stupid moves seem to be happening on every street at all times.

Ballpark. Even though I’m not a big sports fan, I do like having sports arenas in the city. During a game, it’s always packed with people, exciting to be around and interesting to people watch. Plus, ski shows and car shows often happen at them, which I do enjoy.
