Day Trip to Stonehenge

We took our first road trip outside of London today (Feb 17, 2007) and went to Stonehenge. It was about a 2 hour drive from our place in Fulham. The stones were placed there about 3500-4500 years ago, so they will probably be repainted soon.

It isn’t that exciting of a place, but it is pretty cool to see. Maybe that’s because I’ve heard about it for so long. I uploaded a few other photos from the day too.

First day trip out of London? You need to get out more mate… You could try Avesbury – you can actually touch the stones and then roll down the hill. Lot’s of fun – very near Stonehenge. If too far, Oxford is excellent and you can pop in for lunch at my place.

Dude, love the photo of Brian pretending to be part of stonehenge. I was barely able to tell him apart from the 4000 year old stones :-)
